Human Resources Coordinator

Blizzard Entertainment has an immediate opening for a human resources coordinator with a minimum of one to two years experience in a human resources or administrative role. This person will be responsible for assisting with benefit administration, payroll administration, I-9 file maintenance, and filing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, is extremely detail-oriented, possesses excellent administrative skills, and has the desire to develop within the human resources team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientation and associated paperwork and files.
  • Update employee information in Oracle.
  • Handle new hire time keeping ID email and Oracle Self Service Login generation.
  • Distribute paychecks.
  • Maintain I-9 files.
  • Audit human resource employee files.
  • Process background checks.
  • Handle all employee verification of employment requests.
  • Provide assistance to all human resources generalists.
  • Generate monthly vacation reports for managers.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and other clerical functions.
  • Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements

  • One to two years minimum experience in an administrative assistant position, preferably in a human resources-related role
  • Self-motivation; ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Mid- to advanced-level PC software knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality
Pluses:

  • Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Oracle or other HRIS systems and reporting experience
  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Passion for games
